Sexual and Emotional Abuse Scar the Brain In Specific Ways

It takes a great deal to get back up from any type of abuse, but I’ve always considered sexual abuse akin to murder. It kills the spirit and the soul of the victim. Thank God for His miraculous healing power and for providing a way and a hope for the dead to breathe again. This is a good atticle on the emotional and sexual development of women survivors of childhood sexual assault.

The study links specific types of abuse with symptoms experienced by many survivors later in life.
